Bob Marley birthday celebration at Castaways, Feb 6, 2011 (with Thousands of One, Joe Driscoll, Millionaires of Love, and others)
Last week, two people very close to me played an acoustic show at The Nines in collegetown.
(Nicholas Leclair Throop on acoustic guitar and Patrick Murphy on upright bass)
It was so much fun to see them perform. Not to mention, their entire second set was covers from Abbey Road. The Beatles fanatic that I am was very satisfied.
Here are some photos of their overall awesome-ness:
sooo, i have not posted anything in awhile. i am planning to get a real post up and running shortly, but in the meantime, here’s a video slideshow i made mostly of photos from the last five months, but there are a few older photos in there as well. they’re not necessarily my best photos or even ones that i’m the most proud of. . . i just like them is all
i’m not the most tech savvy person, so its done a bit roughly, but hope you enjoy it anyways.
the song is “home” by edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros.

For those who don’t know, Porchfest is a lovely day every September where local musicians gather in the Fall Creek neighborhood of Ithaca, NY and play on the porches of houses. It’s a great way to get out, enjoy the beginning of Autumn, hear some amazing music and really enjoy the feeling of community and fun!
Here are some highlights from this year’s Porchfest! Enjoy!
